The Prime Contractor has an increasing requirement to ensure the health and safety of workers on the site. This SFAA unit will provide a secure anchor point for all workers who are required to access the roof. This SFAA unit will also provide a measure of due diligence to the Prime Contractor. All persons accessing the roof should then supply their own assosiated CSA approved safety equipment.
The Frameing Crew could use the SFAA unit while installing the rough fascia, installing overhangs on the gable end. Also while sheathing or nailing of a sloped roof.
The Roofing Applicator could use the SFAA unit during any roof application. While loading the roof, installing edge flashing, installing starter strip and appliying roofing materials. As the height of the eaves above ground increases and as the slope of the roof increases, the need for the SFAA unit also increases.
The Owner will have the advantage of the SFAA unit for many future uses, thus it becomes a selling feature.
The major advantage to this SFAA system is that it is perminant, available and easily accessable for anyone who has to access the roof, at anytime, during the life span of the structure.
